Meet Tihan

The founder and CEO of Energy of Africa. He is responsible for day to day operations, building a great offering, sourcing products and managing finances.

Tihan is dedicated to providing energy solutions that are efficient, technically feasible but also affordable to everyone who comes to EOA.

He grew up in the Bushveld region of the Limpopo province in South Africa. From an early age he has been entrepreneurial in nature having started and owned multiple business. He later studied BCom at The University of Pretoria and obtained a certificate in entrepreneurial sciences from Potchefstroom University.

In 2010 he opened his first solar business and has been operational in various roles in the industry since then.

He beliefs that the only way for Africa to reach it's vast potential is to become energy independent. This can only be done by the effective and efficient use of renewable energy. He wants to see solar powering the whole continent.
